About
HireSol is a free platform where companies hire students and freshers based on real work.
Instead of screening hundreds of similar résumés, companies on HireSol post a short challenge taken from the actual job. Students and freshers solve it, and the company scores the work, gives feedback and shortlists the best people. Shortlisted work becomes verified proof on the student's profile, next to their résumé.

Why we built it
Hiring for early-career roles is broken on both sides. Students send hundreds of applications and rarely hear back, often filtered out by college name before anyone sees what they can do. Companies receive piles of near-identical, AI-polished résumés that say little about real skill. HireSol fixes the signal: a short, fair task shows more about a candidate than a résumé ever can, and every student gets a response.
How it works
- Sign up and verify your email with a one-time code. Students add skills, education, links and a PDF résumé.
- Companies post a challenge: a 2–8 hour task based on the role, with the pay, location and deadline.
- Students submit their work as a link: GitHub, Figma, a document or a live demo.
- Companies review each submission with a score out of 10 and written feedback, then shortlist or hire.
- Everyone is notified by email, and shortlisted work appears as verified proof on the student's profile.
- Companies can also search the talent marketplace for students who are open to work and view their résumés.
Frequently asked questions
What is HireSol?
HireSol is a free hiring platform where companies post short, real-world challenges and students or freshers solve them. Companies review and score the work, shortlist the best people and hire them, so hiring is based on proven skills instead of resumes alone. Companies can also browse a talent marketplace of students who are open to work.
Is HireSol really free?
Yes. Students never pay to apply, submit work or upload a résumé, and companies post challenges and browse the talent marketplace for free. If we add paid features for companies later, we'll announce them well in advance, and they'll always be optional.
How does hiring through a challenge work?
A company posts a 2–8 hour task based on the real job, for example building a landing page or analysing a dataset. Students submit a link to their work (a GitHub repo, Figma file, document or live demo). The company scores each submission out of 10, writes feedback, and marks people as shortlisted, hired or not selected. Students are emailed at every step.
Can I upload my résumé?
Yes. Students can upload a PDF résumé (up to 5 MB) on their profile. Only verified company accounts can view it, and only while you're marked as open to opportunities, plus any company whose challenge you applied to. You can replace or remove it at any time.
What is the talent marketplace?
It's a searchable directory of students who are open to opportunities, available only to verified companies. Companies can filter by skills, location, availability, job type, résumé and verified work, then view a student's profile, résumé and contact details.
Who can see my email and phone number?
Only verified company accounts, and only while you have "Open to opportunities" switched on (or if you applied to that company's challenge). Public visitors and other students never see your contact details. You can hide yourself from the marketplace with one click.
Isn't this just free work for companies?
No. Challenges must relate to a genuine open role and be short, ideally 2–8 hours. Students keep ownership of their work, and companies can't use it commercially without a separate agreement and payment. We remove challenges that break these rules.
I'm not from a top college. Does that matter?
Companies can see your college, but they score the work you submit, and shortlisted work appears as verified proof on your profile. HireSol is built so skills count more than college names.
What emails will I get?
A code to verify your email when you sign up, and security emails such as password resets. Students also get submission confirmations, review results with feedback, and optional alerts for new challenges in skills they choose. Companies get new-submission alerts, new reviews and a summary when a challenge closes. Everything except security emails can be turned off in Settings.
How do I reset my password?
Click "Forgot password?" on the login page and enter your email. We'll send a 6-digit code that's valid for 10 minutes. You can also log in with a one-time email code instead of a password.
What kind of roles are on HireSol?
Internships and entry-level roles (full-time, part-time and freelance) in web and mobile development, data analysis, machine learning, UI/UX and graphic design, digital marketing, content writing, sales, finance and more.
